How Do I Book My Rentals?

Mission Bay Sportcenter Ultimate Watersport Membership Terms & ConditionsMission Bay Sportcenter Ultimate Watersport Membership is a monthly membership in which customers can rent the corresponding rentals for their membership tier. Each tier has different watersport rentals ranging from non-powered rentals to powered boat rentals. These rentals can be used 1-hour per day, every day while their membership is active. MBSC reserves the right to adjust business hours, open dates, and holiday rates, and is not liable for weather closures or acts of God in which MBSC must cease operations. Members will not receive any credits or refunds in cases of MBSC closures. The tiers and their appropriate rentals are listed below:Silver Membership Rental: Members gain access to renting the following items for 1-hour per day every day of an active membership. Paddleboards, Kayaks, Double Kayaks, Pedal Boats, Boogie Boards, Surfboards, and assorted Beach Gear.Gold Membership Equipment: Members gain access to renting the following items for 1-hour per day every day of an active membership. Paddleboards, Kayaks, Double Kayaks, Pedal Boats, Boogie Boards, Surfboards, Beach Gear, Catalina 14.2, Catalina 16.5, Capri 22, Hobie Wave Catamaran, and Hobie Getaway Catamaran.Platinum Membership Equipment: Members gain access to renting the following items for 1-hour per day every day of an active membership. Paddleboards, Kayaks, Double Kayaks, Pedal Boats, Boogie Boards, Surfboards, Beach Gear, Catalina 14.2, Catalina 16.5, Capri 22, Hobie Wave Catamaran, Hobie Getaway Catamaran, Pontoon Boat, Ski Boat, and Jetskis.The Ultimate Watersport Membership allows members to use one rental for 1 hour per day every day of the month which is a part of their membership tier. Members must reserve the watersport rental online using their Membership ID in the “member ID” field upon booking. Customer Membership ID is emailed to them immediately upon purchasing the membership and is also available by contacting Mission Bay Sportcenter. When checking in for their rental, they must bring a valid I.D that matches their membership name and information. All parties that will be participating in the rental must check in at the MBSC front desk and fill out a liability waiver.Memberships are a 6-month minimum contract that will be charged monthly and charged continually every 30 days until the customer cancels. To cancel your membership you must call 858-488-1004 or email [email protected]. Members that would like to cancel before their 6-month contract may “buy out” of their contract by paying the remaining amount of monthly dues equaling 6 months if 6 months have not occurred. Once 6 months have been reached, customers will be able to cancel the contract with no buyouts or fees. Mission Bay Sportcenter will continue to charge the member every 30 days after the 6 months have elapsed unless the customer cancels their membership. Again, customers may cancel by calling or emailing Mission Bay Sportcenter with the information above.Canceling Reservations: It is important to note that all members MUST book online using their membership ID number for all of their rentals. Using their membership portal, members may reschedule and cancel their bookings as long as it is outside of 72 hours from their reservation date and time for Power Rentals and Sailboat/Catamaran Rentals and at least 24 hours in advance for Non-Powered Rentals. The cancellation policies are listed in detail below.Powered Rental & Sailboat/Catamaran Cancellation:

Our cancellation policy for Powered Rentals and Sailboats/Catamarans differs from the remaining rentals, as MBSC has a much more limited inventory of Sailboats, Catamarans, and Powered Equipment. Sailboats, Catamarans, and Powered Equipment must be canceled at least 72-hours in advance of the booking date. If the member cancels within 72-hours of their reservation they are liable to be charged for 1-hour of the rental with the card on file for their membership and lose the ability to book any reservations for that reservation date. If a member cancels outside of 72 hours of their reservation, they will not be charged the 1-hour fee and are still able to book any of their tiered rentals for that day.Non-Powered Rental Cancellation:
(Paddleboards, Kayaks, Double Kayaks, Pedal Boats, Boogie Boards, Surfboards, and Beach Gear).
Non-Powered Rentals must be canceled 24 hours in advance. If members cancel within 24 hours of the reservation, members will not be charged for the 1-hour hourly rate but will forfeit the ability to rent for the date reserved.The following scenarios will deem the member in violation of the Ultimate Watersport Membership Terms and Services and be met with the cancellation of their membership and be immediately charged their remaining amount of monthly dues (if applicable).Members are prohibited from ‘combining’ hours
Members are prohibited from selling, charging, or monetarily benefiting from their membership.
Members MUST be present for the entire duration of the rental.
Any evidence of a member giving away their membership ID to anyone other than themselves.
Members may not solicit their membership to patrons at the MBSC location. IE: Asking patrons of MBSC to join them on their rental.
Members may not ‘pick up’ anyone during their rental. Whoever joins them at the MBSC location must begin and end at MBSC.
Members may not ‘beach’ or be within 100ft from shore.
Members must abide by the guidelines of the rental agreement.
Members and guests must fill out liability waivers before boarding.
